When the diesel generator is running, it will generally be fixed at a position before running. If it is not fixed well, the vibration phenomenon during the movement will bring trouble to the operation of the diesel generator, and even cause the diesel generator to stop running in case of failure.

1、安装地点需通风良好，发电机端应有足够的进风口，柴油机端应有良好的出风口。出风口面积应大于水箱面积1.5倍以上。

2、安装地的周围应保持清洁，避免在附近放置能产生酸性、碱性等腐蚀性气体和蒸汽的物品。有条件的应配置灭火装置。

2. The surroundings of the installation site shall be kept clean and articles that can produce acidic, alkaline and other corrosive gases and vapors shall not be placed nearby. If possible, fire extinguishing devices shall be equipped.

3、在室内使用，必须将排烟管道通导室外，管径必须≥消音器的出烟管直径，所接之管路的弯头不宜超过3个，以保证排烟畅通，并应将管子向下倾斜5-10度，避免雨水注入；若排气管时垂直向上安装的，则必须加装防雨罩。

3. For indoor use, the smoke exhaust pipe must be connected to the outside, the pipe diameter must be ≥ the diameter of the smoke outlet pipe of the silencer, and the elbows of the connected pipeline should not exceed 3 to ensure smooth smoke exhaust, and the pipe should be inclined downward by 5-10 degrees to avoid rainwater injection; If the exhaust pipe is installed vertically upward, a rain cover must be installed.

4、基础采用混凝土时，在安装时须用水平尺测其水平度，使机组固定于水平的基础上。机组与基础之间应有专用防震垫或用底脚螺栓。

4. When the foundation adopts concrete, the levelness must be measured with a level ruler during installation to fix the unit on a horizontal foundation. Special shockproof pads or foot bolts shall be provided between the unit and the foundation.

5、机组外壳必须有可靠的保护接地，对需要有中性点直接接地的发电机，则必须由人员进行中性接地，并配置防雷装置，严禁利用市电的接地装置进行中性点直接接地。

5. The unit shell must have reliable protective grounding. For generators that need neutral point direct grounding, professionals must conduct neutral grounding and configure lightning protection devices. It is strictly prohibited to use the grounding device of municipal power for neutral point direct grounding.

6、发电机与市电的双向开关必须分开。

柴油发电机为什么隔一段时间就要保养呢？因柴油发电机组长期处于静态，机组本身各种材料会与机油、冷却水、柴油、空气等发生复杂的化学、物理变化，可能导致机组出现如下故障。

1、水进入柴油机，由于空气中水气在温度的变化发生冷凝现象，结成水珠挂附在油箱内壁，流入柴油，致使柴油含水量超标，这样的柴油进入发动机高压油泵，会锈蚀精密耦合件柱塞，严重的会损坏机组，定期维护即有效可避免。

When water enters the diesel engine, the water vapor in the air condenses due to the change of temperature, forms water droplets, hangs on the inner wall of the oil tank and flows into the diesel, resulting in the water content of the diesel exceeding the standard. When such diesel enters the engine high-pressure oil pump, it will rust the plunger of the precision coupling and seriously damage the unit. Regular maintenance can be effectively avoided.

2、机油变质，机油的保持期（二年）发动机的机油是机械润滑作用，而机油也有一定的保持期，长时间存放，机油的物理化学性能会发生变化，造成机组工作时润滑状况恶化，容易引发机组零件损坏，所以润滑油要定期更换。

2. The engine oil deteriorates and the retention period of the engine oil (two years) the engine oil is mechanical lubrication, and the engine oil also has a certain retention period. If it is stored for a long time, the physical and chemical properties of the engine oil will change, resulting in the deterioration of the lubrication condition of the unit during operation, which is easy to cause the damage of unit parts, so the lubricating oil should be replaced regularly.
