沼气发电机组的主要燃烧成分是甲烷

关于“沼气”这种新兴、清洁的能源,由于它突出具有高能、节能、安 全、环保等特点,因而在未来它的应用前景是非常广阔的。我国在沼气的生产、收集、储存及利用等方面的技术和设备也是日益成熟,那么为什么越来越多人选择沼气发电机组呢,这与它自身的特点是离不开的。

1、可再生,污染少。用沼气进行发电,不用担心会有枯竭的。据统计,至2002年底世界剩余石油探明储量为1407.04亿吨。根据世界已探明的化石能源储量推算,石油还可使用40~50年,天然气还可使用60~70年,煤炭则能维持225年左右。可见,说明化石能源离我们而去的日子已不远。而以沼气为代表的生物质能源的寿命几乎是无限的,只要太阳存在,沼气也将存在。

2、原料来源广泛。沼气发电机组的主要燃烧成分是甲烷,由甲烷产生菌厌氧消化有机物产生。所以只要有机物存在的地方,再配以适合的环境条件,就会有甲烷的生成。例如人畜的粪便、有机工业废水、垃圾填埋场、农作物秸秆等都可用做沼气产生的原材料。今后随着畜禽养殖业和工业企业的发展,沼气的生产量还会增加。以一个60万人口的城镇为例,每天产生垃圾约600吨,产生沼气1万立方左右,可以供1000千瓦的燃气发电机组进行发电。且城市越大,垃圾中含的有机物越多,产生的沼气量也就越多。我国人口众多,适合做这样项目的垃圾填埋场也很多。因此,沼气的来源十分广泛。

3、受环境限制小。沼气发电机组的规模比较小,对场地的要求不高,只要有沼气产生的地方基本上都可以进行发电。不像水电必须建立在水力资源丰富的地方,而且还要考虑电站对周围生态环境的影响;太阳能发电要建在日照时间长且比较偏僻的地方,因为太阳能发电要占用大量的土地,必须考虑项目的经济性.
