1、电解液容器要用瓷器或大玻璃瓶，禁止使用铁、铜、锌等金属容器，严禁把蒸馏水倒入硫酸内，以防引起爆炸。

2、维修交流电路时，切断电源，严禁带电作业。

在柴油发电机组进行充电的时候还会遇到充不进电的问题，那么又该如何解决呢？出现这种问题有可能是保险丝或整流二极管损坏所造成的。当保险丝烧断后，充电机电源指示灯不亮；整流二极管损坏后，充电机的电源指示灯亮，但无直流电输出。

排除故障的方法就是：断开充电机与蓄电池的连接线，用万用表直流电压挡（50V）测试充电机两个输出接线柱间的电压，注意红表笔接充电机的正极，黑表笔接负极，发现无电压输出。拆下充电机外壳，对充电保险芯子进行检查，发现60A的保险芯子烧坏。更换后，充电机恢复正常充电，故障即被排除。
